Health-Stress-Management for busy people
The health-stress-management page provides information and resources critical especially for people who work for themselves. You can't just phone in sick and get paid for it!
Self-employment and small business ownership create more pressure that can lead to health-stress-management type issues.
As a nutritional consultant myself, I find it important and necessary to provide a page of information, tips, articles, links, on this subject.

The subject of health-stress-management is a very popular topic. It affects people in all walks of life, not just small business.
Rule #1 -- Eat Well
I cannot emphasize more the importance of keeping your body healthy.
One of the most important thing you can do for yourself is make sure you eat well. By eating well, I mean add to your diet (and diet is not an abstenance word - it is a life style), foods that will nourish your cells, i.e.:
Natural foods, Protein, Legumes, Vegetable, Fruits, Cut back on the carbs,Cut out bad fats.
Eat nuts and grains and nibble on cut-up veggies instead of chips and candies.
Cut out coffee - that alone will get rid of a lot of ailments you might have. I had a lady who came to me just recently. She suffered from terrific headaches - 3, 4, 5 times a week. After giving her a 'lifestyle analysis', the first thing I did was ask her to not drink any coffee for a week. Within days, she reported, the headaches were decreasing.
I had another person who began to have problems with incontinence. The first thing I did again is have her cut out coffee. Within days, she breathed a sigh of relief that she wasn't going to need any 'Depends' afterall.
So, if you do have some chronic problems, try that first.
Rule # 2 -- Use a simple supplement addition
Then, add the very basic supplements to your diet (forget about the 'exotic' stuff you read about if you don't first have the following):
Multiple Vitamins/Minerals Vitamin B complex Calcium/Magnesium Anti-oxidants (Vitamin C, E, Selenium and Beta Carotene)
That'll make all the difference. You'll feel better very quickly. It will help with you mental agility because the B vitamins are critical for that, as well as for fighting stress.

Even just a 40 minute walk will get your body in shape, strengthen your heart and circulation, help improve your arthritis, diabetes, etc. Following a simple weight lifting or resistance program will build strength and change fat into muscle.
